Lake Area Community Orchestra

The Lake Area Community Orchestra announced its nine concert Summer Schedule for 2011. These concerts take place in various communities and places around the Lake Area from Ha Ha Tonka State Park to Jefferson City.

All concerts begin at 7 p.m Tuesdays. There is no admission charge. Donations are welcome.

Concert schedule:

* May 31 St. Michael's Catholic Church in Russellville

* June 7 Ha Ha Tonka State Park (Outdoor, bring chairs)

* June 14 Eldon Air Park in Eldon (Outdoors bring chairs)



* June 21 West Lake Christian Church in Laurie



* June 28 Christ the King Lutheran Church in Lake Ozark



* July 12 Hope Lutheran Church in Osage Beach



* July 19 First Christian Church in Jefferson City



* July 26 Royal Theatre in Versailles



* August 2 Lake Ozark Christian Church in Lake Ozark







The variety of musical selections include "Caribbean Rondo," "A Tribute to Artie Shaw," "Way Down Yonder in New Orleans," "Somewhere," "Main Street Celebration" and "March of the Two Left Feet."
